Alaska Adventures 2023

Come and see the best that Bristol Bay Alaska has to offer and join us on the Naknek River, just outside of King Salmon, Alaska the week of August 19 - 26th.

Accommodations:

Ground zero will be at the Naknek River Camp, right on the Naknek River. Cabins include, beds, towels, pillows, linens, showers and toilets. Just bring your own toiletries, fishing gear and your sense of adventure. We’ll supply everything else.

Fishing:

The Naknek has one of the worlds last strongholds runs for all five Pacific salmon species. The king, silver, sockeye, chum and pinks. In addition, you’ll also find, rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling and dolly varden.

Pricing:

The price is $4,795, not including airfare.

It will be your responsibility to fly to King Salmon, Alaska as this price does not include airfare. 

In order to avoid price increases for 2023, a refundable deposit will be needed by August 31, 2022 of $1,000.  Then, another deposit will be needed by December 31 of $1,500, The remaining will be due upon departure.  If you want, you can always the pay a $2,500 deposit by December 31, 2022.  

Just because you don’t make a deposit by December 31, 2022 does not mean you cannot come, it just means a price increase may occur after that date.  

Upon your arrival, Max and I will greet you at the King Salmon Airport and take you to Naknek River Camp.

It should be noted that this trip fills up quickly.  

Package:

The package includes 7 days, Saturday to Saturday.

– Private Riverfront Cabin
– Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
– Transportation to and from the King Salmon Airport
– A visit to the world famous Brooks Falls and River in Katmai National Park
– World class guided fishing trips each day on the Naknek River
– One float plane fly-out to some of Alaska’s most remote fishing destinations

Recommended Tackle & Gear:

Although gear is not required, it is helpful to bring your own. A light spinning rod in the 9 ½ – 11 ½ range, loaded with 4 – 8 pounds mono a 9 ½ to 11 ½ fly rod in the 6 to 8 wt range. You would want to have a 200 or 300 grain sink tip, a WF floating line and a Climax Zip line (or equivalent shooting line). 2x – 4 x fluorocarbon tippets.

Waders are a must and you should plan on bringing your own.
