It's game on! All of our guides have been on area rivers and bringing to net both steelhead and pre-spawn smallmouth bass. With the rain coming this weekend, it will send more steelhead into area rivers.
The near-term forecast calls for warmer than normal temps, which will only get the smallmouth more active. This time of year it's not a numbers game but a game of inches. If you want your crack at a master angler smallmouth, April and early May are the best times to go.
